Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Manchester (twice a week) – commutable from Stockport, Chester, Liverpool, Wigan, Bolton, Blackburn, Warrington, Crewe, Stoke, Blackpool, and Preston.
£55,000 - £60,000 + 10% annual bonus
Are you a talented and passionate Cloud Infrastructure Engineer looking to join a dynamic Fintech start-up in the heart of Manchester? We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our client’s team and create new cloud infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the growth and success of a start-up who are looking to grow 4X in the next 2 years.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems
- Implement and maintain networking solutions to support applications and services
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues to ensure high availability.
Requirements:
- Strong experience across AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and experience with network configuration
- Proficiency in cloud engineering and automation using Terraform.
- Familiarity with security best practices and experience implementing security measures in a cloud environment
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Over 5 years of commercial experience within Infrastructure roles.
