GCP DevOps Engineer

£70,000 - £80,000 + 10% bonus
An exciting and innovative Fintech company in Central London are looking for a GCP DevOps Engineer to join the small but ambitious team. The mission is to revolutionize the payments industry by building and growing a cutting-edge product using GCP, Terraform, Gitlab, Prometheus, and more. You will be joining a team of Google Cloud experts, who are dedicated to building a robust and reliable platform that is both secure and scalable.
As a GCP DevOps Engineer, your responsibilities will be to:
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on GCP, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
- Collaborate with the development team to optimize the Fintech platform and enable rapid deployment
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using terraform.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to define processes and implement best practices.
Skills desired:
- 3 years + of experience as a DevOps/Cloud Engineer, preferably with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Good experience with building CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab, CircleCI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or other tooling.
- Strong understanding of using GKE to orchestrate containers, which are built using Docker.
- Strong background using Terraform alongside GCP to provision and automate infrastructure as code.
