Senior DevOps Engineer
New York – 3 days per week in Manhattan
$200,000 - $240,000 + Bonus + Equity
ReVybe IT is recruiting for a fast-growing cloud-native SaaS company that is currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:

Take full ownership of the AWS-based cloud environment, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

Work closely with software engineering teams to deliver stable, production-grade infrastructure.

Manage containerised workloads using EKS (Kubernetes).

Build, improve, and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, with an emphasis on modular, reusable codebases.

Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to streamline builds, testing, and deployment workflows.

Implement and maintain observability tooling (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).

Ensure platform reliability through monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices.

Contribute to DevOps best practices across engineering—mentoring, tooling decisions, and documentation.

Drive automation across the stack to reduce manual operational work.

Collaborate effectively within Agile teams in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
Requirements:

Strong commercial experience with AWS, particularly services like EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, EKS, and Lambda.

Proven track record working with Terraform in production, including module design.

Solid experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and containerisation best practices.

Expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tooling.

Strong scripting ability (Python, Bash or similar).

Familiar with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.

Confident working in high-growth or fast-moving environments.
-
Able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
